Chinese Laundry is a branch of Cels Enterprises, Inc., founded in 1971 by Robert and Carol Goldman. This is a privately held woman's footwear company with headquarters in Los Angeles, California. From its beginnings as a shoe manufacturer selling to mass merchants, Cels Enterprises, Inc. has steadily expanded its influence in the fashion footwear industry. Consumer research and creative insight have led to the development of seven branded divisions within the Chinese Laundry family including CL by Laundry, Little Laundry, A'Mano, Creative International and Passports.
Chinese Laundry was launched in 1981 with a collection of fashion forward footwear targeted to the young women's market. For its remarkable ability to deliver on lifestyle and lead with trend, Chinese Laundry has attracted the attention of a growing number of stars and celebrities, including Paris Hilton, Hilary Duff, Teri Hatcher, Courteney Cox, Kelly Clarkson, and Jennifer Love Hewitt.
Expect to find the most fashionable trends in boots, evening wear, pumps, sandals, dress shoes, flats, wedges and "vegan." The prices are geared for the younger crowd, with regular prices as low as $40.00. Even boot prices are reasonable, allowing fashion on a budget.
If you want trend-setting shoes in great colors and styles, Chinese Laundry has footwear for you. Textures include suede, leather, cloth and patent leather among others, and colors range the rainbow, even in their boot styles. Look for fashion tweaks such as buttons, bows, multi-color shoes and strappy heels to make your fashion statements.

You won't need any help getting in and out of these boots. The full zip is awesome, and looks great with all kinds of outfits. The slant at the top of the boot is very kewl 2. Looks great with tucked-in jeans.

These boots definitely are "excess!" I bought them for a friend as a joke, and they ended up back in my closet. They're not good in snow, on ice or at church! But, they are a lot of fun for those crazy nights out with the girls. The heel also is excessive, but the high platform does make these boots "walkable." Barely! =)

I bought these heels because they looked hot (silver), but after a few hours on the feet, they were a pain in the rear. There's really no arch to help keep your toes from sliding down into that toe hole, and they pinched my toes together after a while. But, if you can hide the look of pain on your face, they are very good looking!

These heels are my favorites, because they're comfortable, they look sharp and they're solid. The square toe provides plenty of room for my toes, and the heel is sturdy. I can wear these pumps at work or take them out on the town. Versatile and crisp!

I thought the square toe and the slin-back strap would hurt, but these pumps are ver comfortable and dressy. But, they're not so dressy that I can't wear them to work if I want. A great all-around heel that I can count on day in and day out.

This high black boot is the sexiest pair of boots I've ever owned. Not practical in snow and ice, but awesome on a date! The stretchy upper fits my leg great, so the boots don't slip down at all. Nice, tight fit.
