If you wanted a truly American-made shoe, Cole Haan offered that option in the early twentieth century. In 1928, Trafton Cole and Eddie Haan introduced their fist Cole Haan shoe in Chicago. Byt 1950, Cole Haan had become a mainstay in men's university shops with their quintessential American prep style, including genuine handsewns, saddles, bucks and penny loafers.
By 1979, Cole Haan introduced its first women's footwear collection, and introduced the boat shoe in 1980 in colors that rocked the fashion world. After opening their first retail store in Freeport, Maine, Cole Haan introduced a complete line of men's accessories. Finally, Nike acquired Cole Haan in 1988. Still known as Cole Haan, customers can find the same quality, trends and comfort they found in earlier years. Additionally, you can find eyewear, coats, jewelry and more to help tie your look together.
Cole Haan represents classic style re-imagined since 1928 for men and women. from dockers and boat shoes to dress footwear, you can find a style that will fit the occasion. And, you're not stuck with understated neutrals, as Cole Haan will experiment with color in the most surprising ways (they were the ones who introduced the pastel boat shoe, after all!).
You can, however, expect great craftmanship, simple styles with designer touches, great textures and even better comfort from Cole Haan. From casual ballerinas, flats and slippers to mocs and slip-ons to bridal and formal wear, Cole Haan has it all.

While these shoes are extremely comfortable and stylish I am finding they are not worth the price. The last 3 pairs I bought have fallen apart within 10 months. However Cole Haan only stands behind their products for 6 months after that there is a $83 charge when the shoe falls to pieces to have it fixed. When I pay $500 for pair of boots or $300 for a pair of shoes I expect them to last longer than 10 months.

I have bunches of cole haan shoes and most recently bought the Air Liam, in suede. It's comfortable and just goes to prove the my roommate's saying, "you can walk into a cole haan store blindfolded, pick out a pair of shoes, and they will look great on you."

Sweet thong! I usually don't like the thongs with the strap between the toes, so this model with the toe ring intrigued me. I'm glad I purchased them, as they were unusual (no one else had a pair like this at the beach!) and they were comfortable. Wore them all day and all night without problems, and they continue to look great. Can't go wrong, ladies!

I never wore sandals before that didn't have the strap over the foot. These thongs are great, as that strap isn't there to rub against your upper foot. But, these thongs also are very secure - don't count on them falling off or tripping you up. Very comfortable and nice enough to wear to a nice restaurant.

These pumps are like butter on my feet. They are so comfortable that I actually hate taking them off! The open toe doesn't cut my toes like most shoes, and the color is great for spring, summer AND fall (especially fall). My favorite heels.
