Onnik E. Kouyoumdjian, an immigrant from a family of European shoemakers, founded Onex Shoes in 1972. His vision of the American dream coupled with his passion for a fine lady's shoe design inspired him to start a business in designing, manufacturing, and distributing the Onex shoe line nationwide. Carefully handcrafted in the U.S., Onex shoes feature the finest components, materials, and ornaments from around the world.
In the 70's Kouyoumdjian was the first to introduce the clear Lucite slide, better known as the "Glass Slipper." It made its mark in lady's footwear, designed to match everything in a womans wardrobe, and it continues to be a strong favorite of the Onex line.
Mr. Kouyoumdjian, who died in 1991, was a visionary who lived for his work, and his work was Onex shoes. He saw every woman as an exciting individual and wanted his designs to complement each woman's individualism. Onex Shoes remains committed to continuing the production of designs with the same passion and integrity set forth by their founder. Onex Shoes are the shoes that dreams are made of, and this company wants to become part of your dreams.
The styles range from casual cork wedges, to jeweled thongs, and a collection of glittering evening and holiday dress shoes with sparkling Swarovski crystals. Alongside the timeless classics, the Onex line is diverse and always innovative to match the demands of the fashion world. Designed for the unique woman who craves originality, whatever the occasion, there is an Onex shoe that is the perfect match. Most importantly, the perfect match is not only stylish, but extremely comfortable. Once a woman owns a pair and experiences the extra cushioned comfort, she becomes an Onex addict!

Oh, wonderful, sweet, sexy and very comfortable these heels. They don't make a 'flop' or sloppy click sound when walking like those other sandles. Nice, snug fit and very pretty. I wear them with my black tights and gold lame top, very pretty. You won't be sorry.
