The midsole design incorporates a special flex plate for increased flexibility and a firmer density medial post and external shank for support, which works with the highly supportive upper design to resist overpronation dynamics. The Genesis II contains WaveSpring technology in both the heel and the forefoot to provide a remarkable combination of cushioning and energy return with a high density medial post for stability.
